The Rising Room
The St Regis Rome’s lift was designed and built by Cesar Ritz and registered as the 13th modern elevator of the era in the Eternal City. This original heritage piece of the adjacent 16th century Moses Fountain. Today the same shell – or “rising room” as the elevator was named at the time – equipped with the latest technology – is fully operating and will transport you to your desired floor.
The Ritz Ballroom
The Ritz Ballroom, first public ballroom of Rome was designed by Roman architect Giulio Podesti (1857-1909) in 1890 and opened by Cesar Ritz in 1894. The hall is characterized by its original frescoes, marbled walls and magnificent chandeliers. Today Ritz Ballroom is Rome’s most striking and romantic ballroom for unforgettable and unique events.
Midnight Supper Gala
With its undeniable beauty and Belle Époque atmosphere, the Ritz Ballroom is the city’s premier venue for exclusive receptions and social galas. Its wide-open space is able to host 450 guests for receptions or up to 300 for a seated banquet. 276 square meters and perfect acoustic with adjoining rooms for additional space, it is the perfect address for your most exclusive day and Midnight Supper Gala.
